    Description

    Lead the ongoing development and improvement of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) to support operational growth and align with modern industry standards.

     

    Maintain, evaluate, and update QMS documentation and processes to ensure alignment with best practices.

     

    Ensure the organization meets applicable ISO requirements and other regulatory obligations.

     

    Plan, coordinate, and perform internal and external quality audits.

     

    Develop and manage corrective and preventive action plans in response to identified issues.

     

    Oversee Continuous Improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and similar methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

     

    Drive improvement initiatives across production teams and supporting departments.

     

    Conduct structured root‑cause investigations to resolve quality problems effectively.

     

    Implement durable corrective and preventive measures to prevent repeated issues.

     

    Promote a strong culture of quality, ownership, and accountability across the organization.

     

    Provide guidance, coaching, and training on quality expectations, standards, and tools.

     

    Establish, track, and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators.

     

    Present quality trends, findings, and progress updates to leadership.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance activities to ensure consistent product and process standards.

     

    Manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes, including evaluation, documentation, and coordination of material returns.

     

    Hold a bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, engineering, quality management, or a related discipline, or possess an equivalent blend of education and practical experience.

     

    Preferably hold an advanced degree in a related field.

     

    Bring a minimum of 5+ years of quality management experience within a manufacturing environment.

     

    Demonstrate strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and certification procedures.

     

    Possess familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods (Green/Black Belt preferred).

     

    Show proven capability in root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

     

    Have experience leading and managing audits as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory or customer requirements.

     

    Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with databases or digital quality management tools.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Mankato, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
