What you'll do
The Coordinator Ops Healthworks Marketing organizes functions of the HealthWorks Occupational Health Services program with internal/external customers. Expedites communications and contracts with company principals in its eight-county service area, matching customer needs with available resources. Oversees marketing, sales & customer support assuring contracted services are delivered with the highest standards of quality. Works closely with BHN Clinics to assure same of services delivered regionally. Coordinates all financial and statistical aspects of the business of HealthWorks. Prepares all contracts and billing statements and works closely with HealthWorks Supervisor in analyzing markets and developing business strategies. Works closely with HealthWorks’ Medical Director in his role as Medical Review Officer for Federal DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing, maintaining national certification to act as MRO Assistant and completing all processing and documentation. Expert in all areas of Drug & Alcohol Testing regulations & procedures, acting as Network Trainer. Provides clinical services (EKGs, UDS and breath alcohol collection, vitals, vision screening, fit testing, etc.) at on- and off-site clinics.
+ Supports the financial aspects of HealthWorks activities
+ Coordinates all financial and statistical aspects of the business of HealthWorks
+ Produces & maintains service contracts for regional employers by communicating with contractor’s principals. Seeks new business contracts by active marketing
+ Completes data entry and prepares billing program for all monthly customer invoicing by Finance. Works closely with Network Regional Clinics to assure quality reporting and billing. Creates and maintains accurate billing worksheets for each regional network site providing occupational Health Services billed by HealthWorks. Develops Quality Assurance/Quality-Improvement systems for contract handling, billing, and marketing of services
+ Responsible for data collection, coordination of databases, and generation of reports for the goal of analyzing markets, services, and business strategies. Works closely with HealthWorks Supervisor in revenue forecasting, budget tracking, and developing business strategies
+ Tracks monthly financial and service delivery performance trends for entire HealthWorks effort and compares these to past performance as well as performance goals
+ Acts as primary liaison for all pricing, invoicing and collection with contractor and the Bassett Finance Department
+ Works closely with Finance to track past-due invoices, contacting customers who are overdue in their payments and when necessary, work with patient billing to answer questions regarding who is billed through HW
+ Tracks monthly services by volume and revenue, for use in reports to granting agencies
+ Functions as liaison between employees, company contacts, regional network, & providers with regard to issues related to employee visits. Coordinates with HealthWorks management for resolution
+ Coordinates DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing program; maintains national certifications for drug & alcohol testing training and MRO documentation
+ Coordinates data entry into Federal DOT database program and prepares appropriate reports for urine drug screen and breathe alcohol program. This includes daily reporting of negative drug tests, preparing positive drug result contact information for MRO, sending/calling/faxing drug test results after review of COC form and MRO signature, maintaining updated employee rosters and preparing customer year-end drug and alcohol testing summaries
+ Interacts with Federal Database to enter DOT physical information for HealthWorks’ Providers
+ Trains Bassett Network Staff (Regional and HealthWorks Staff) annually, in DOT Urine Drug Screening Protocols & Procedures. Provides re-training as required by fatal flaw incidents
+ Maintains accurate/complete customer’s occupational health employee records, updating employee lists in federal database and sending drug and alcohol testing results at year’s end, maintains accurate patient, FF and employee records
+ Creates and maintains accurate and current HealthWorks company list with all necessary contact information and distributes to regional network sites providing HealthWorks services
+ Provides excellent service for (potential) customers of occupational health services (written, phone and personal), scheduling site visit appointments, and gathering company information, including assisting in establishing new business customers
+ Communicates clearly and regularly with clinical laboratories, regional health centers, pharmacy, medicine and other Bassett departments
+ Provides scheduling and customer service functions for all influenza screening clinics as monitored by documentation in Excel scheduling workbook
+ Commits to high level of courtesy with colleagues, patients, contractors, employers, providers, and numerous hospital departments. Achieves positive results in adverse situations. Maintains customer confidence and trust. Works cooperatively with other employees in meeting customer expectations/needs. This work style and commitment to excellence will be assessed by supervisory and staff observation
+ Provides cross-coverage with department reception & clinical areas
+ Complies with Bassett HC Confidentiality & other Policies
+ Participates in NYCAMH & HealthWorks meetings, retreats, and required trainings
+ Performs clinical and/or technical tasks when required to meet customer and departmental demand
+ Performs administrative intake at clinics and firefighter screenings as assigned
+ Performs clinical services such as EKG screening, Fit Testing, Vitals, Vision Screening, and intake at DOT physicals and firefighter and occupational health screening events as requested and noted by supervisory observation
+ Become trained in and perform urine and/or hair drug testing and perform tests as requested and noted by supervisory observation
+ Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed
What we need from you
Education:
+ 2 Year/Associate Degree or 2 years of higher education in business or related field, preferred
Experience:
+ Minimum 5 years incrementally responsible administrative support positions (including financial responsibilities) in fast-paced office/clinic environments, required
Licensure/Certifications:
+ Certified Professional Collector Trained in Urine Specimen Collection & Breath Alcohol Testing within 6 months from date of hire, required
+ Certified MRO Assistant & DOT Reporter within 6 months of hire, required
+ Certified in EKG within 6 months of hire, required
+ NYS Drivers License, required
+ BLS Certification, preferred

Pay Range
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.
Pay Range Minimum:
USD $20.29/Hr.
Pay Range Maximum:
USD $30.44/Hr.
