Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist on the 2nd shift weekend schedule. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in machining, particularly those experienced with Mazak machines. This role requires a commitment to quality and safety, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Study blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

+ Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.

+ Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.

+ Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make adjustments as required.

+ Verify conformance of finished work-pieces to specifications using measuring and inspection tools.

+ Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.

+ Collaborate with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Knowledge of blueprints and CNC Machines.

+ Experience with Mazak machines.

+ 3+ years of recent CNC machining experience.

+ Experience with 4 and 5 axis machining preferred, but 3 axis is acceptable.

+ Ability to perform true machining, not just button-pushing or operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mazak 3-5 axis machining experience with CNC Lathe background.

+ Experience with Millturn.

+ Familiarity with Fanuc controls, with preference for Mazatrol SmoothX Controls.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr.
