    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our dynamic metal roofing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in metal roofing, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team setting and eventually lead a team of 3-4 members. This role involves installing and repairing metal roofing systems, performing general maintenance and repairs on buildings, and assisting with other related tasks as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Work within a team of 3-4 technicians to install and repair metal roofing systems.

     

    + Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings.

    + Assist with various tasks as needed, demonstrating reliability and hard work.

    + Develop leadership skills to lead a team of 3-4 members effectively.

    + Adhere to safety regulations when working.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience in metal roofing (laborer level).

    + 4+ years of experience in metal roofing (journeyman level).

    + Proficiency in sheet metal, metal panels, and roofing fabrication & installation.

    + Specialization in Metal Roofing Systems, Edge Metal, and Coping Metal.

    + Experience with single-ply roofing systems and standing seam architectural metal systems.

    + Skills in architectural cladding, wall panels, ACM (Aluminum Composite Material), and Insulated Metal Panels (IMP).

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Knowledge of safety procedures.

    + Demonstrated leadership development skills.

    + Ability to carry and use tools correctly.

    + Capability to lift heavy objects and materials.

    + Willingness to learn on the job.

    + Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions.

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves working on new constructions with a focus on flat roofs, in all weather conditions. The typical shift is from 6 am to 5 pm, with the possibility of finishing earlier at 3 pm. Each project team consists of 4 members.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
