Project Manager / Architect

Seeking a licensed Architect to manage projects and staff at all stages of design and construction. The Project Architect will guide projects from planning through construction administration. Responsibilities include proficient use of Revit, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Procore. The ability to write technical specifications for publicly funded projects is preferred. The Project Architect will work closely with contractors to ensure all RFIs, shop drawings, and site visits are coordinated in a timely manner.

E. Education

+ Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch), or an alternative path to licensure is acceptable.

F. Certification and Licensing

+ Architectural Licensure (NCARB) is required.

+ AIA, CSI, LEED AP, WELL AP, CPTED certifications are encouraged.

G. Experience

+ 10–15 years of experience in architecture, including at least 5 years in a Senior Project Management role.

+ Revit proficiency is a plus.

+ Proven ability to lead complex, multi-phase projects—especially in education, civic, or higher‑education sectors.

+ Experience developing fee proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and contracts.

+ Skilled at balancing design quality, technical rigor, and business performance.

H. Other Requirements

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining design quality and consistency.

+ Established professional network within target markets (e.g., community colleges, K–12, civic, higher‑ed).

+ Collaborate with leadership on pursuit strategy, proposal development, and interview preparation.

+ Strong writing and presentation skills.

+ Active involvement in professional associations (e.g., AIA, NOMA) is encouraged.

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
