    We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial projects. This role is central to delivering high-quality builds, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that every project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and integrity. The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to keep a jobsite running smoothly from groundbreaking to closeout.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee daily onsite construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans.

    + Coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.

    + Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.

    + Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.

    + Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, procurement, and issue resolution.

    + Lead onsite safety initiatives and enforce our safety culture.

    + Communicate proactively with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

    + Manage project closeout activities.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience with a commercial general contractor.

    + Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and best practices.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents including plans, specifications, and submittals.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain productive working relationships.

    + Solid knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements.

    + Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.

    + Ability to lead teams and maintain a positive, professional jobsite environment.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

     

    Eligible for Bonus / Commission Health Insurance, dental insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance. 401k Plan (3% contribution) 20 days PTO 6 Paid Holidays Cell phone reimbursement (up to $85 per month)
