    Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Night Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team in a full-time night shift position. This role will involve working closely with a Senior Controls Engineer to manage and troubleshoot electrical issues on production lines and facility equipment. You will conduct routine and advanced PLC program modifications and develop new control systems for automation projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Demonstrate and ensure safe work practices at all times.

    + Comply with NEC, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA code compliance.

    + Lead troubleshooting for equipment PLC programs to minimize downtime.

    + Create and modify PLC programs as necessary.

    + Design and implement control systems using sensors, motion control, and feedback loops.

    + Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

    + Electrical troubleshooting expertise.

    + PLC programming skills, with the ability to tweak existing coding.

    + Familiarity with Rockwell Automation or similar programming, with a preference for experience with Siemens.

    + Experience with RS500, RS5000, Studio5000, and View Studio.

    + Understanding of servo motors and controls.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of industry experience or extensive co-op/internship experience.

    + Associate's Degree from a technical institution with 2-5 years of industry experience.

    + Capability to interpret and apply NEC, NFPA, and OSHA codes.

    + Familiarity with 3-phase electrical power applications.

    Work Environment

    This role primarily operates in an 80% manufacturing and 20% office environment. The position is a night shift role with a schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off. There is no travel associated with this position. The company offers autonomy in your work and is continuously integrating new automation technologies with the goal of full automation over time.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $45.00/hr.
