    Job Title: CLIA Lab Technician

    Job Description

    The CLIA Lab Technician will collaborate with General and Technical team members to achieve department goals and initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to task completion and effective problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise. The technician will also participate in routine laboratory cleaning in accordance with established SOPs.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for sample accession, testing, and reporting.

    + Perform routine proficiency testing.

    + Conduct operational qualification on instruments.

    + Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with CLIA, Q-PCR, Real-Time PCR, and LIMS.

    + Proficiency in medical laboratory technology (MLT).

    + Skilled in liquid handling.

    + Must be Eligible to work in the United States

    Work Environment

    The position operates within a CLIA testing lab. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for career advancement. The role offers long tenure, great benefits upon permanent hiring, and holiday pay for contractors.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
