    Project Manager (Architecture)

     

    Salary: $110,000 to $140,000

    The Irvine office is located in a premier area and is currently undergoing an exciting renovation, with completion anticipated in March. The role offers a flexible hybrid work model, with an average expectation of 2–3 days in the office each week.

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong Division of the State Architect (DSA) background to lead and deliver high-quality public school projects. This role is well suited for either an energetic professional with approximately 5 years of experience looking to grow within a sophisticated design environment, or a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience who can confidently lead projects from day one.

     

    The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is responsible for managing project quality, schedule, and financial performance from inception through closeout.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Generate and contribute to Design Services Proposals

    + Interpret and administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle

    + Lead projects from planning and design through construction and closeout

    + Manage and mentor project teams, aligning staffing with project milestones

    + Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and billing processes

    + Produce and/or manage project documentation within a Revit-based workflow

    + Lead both architectural design and technical production efforts

    + Maintain strong client relationships and manage interdisciplinary interfaces

    + Contribute to RFP responses and broader business development initiatives

    Essential Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

    + 5–10 years of experience managing public school projects, including DSA

    + Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

    + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

    + Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and staffing

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    + Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Rhino, and Grasshopper

    + Working knowledge of MEP coordination, schematic design, 3D modeling, LEED principles, and building envelope systems

    + Experience contributing to business development and the ability to cultivate client relationships is a pl

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
