Job Title: Site Safety ManagerJob Description

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining all safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. This role will oversee site-specific safety plans, conduct audits, and provide training to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.

Responsibilities

+ Implement and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.

+ Oversee site-specific safety plans and conduct safety audits.

+ Provide safety training to personnel to maintain a safe work environment.

+ Conduct safety training sessions and maintain compliance documentation.

Essential Skills

+ OSHA 500 Certification (Construction Industry Trainer)

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management

+ Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926 standards, EM-385, and other applicable regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Current certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED

+ Ability to influence a culture of safety

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills

Work Environment

The position is based onsite, offering an opportunity to run and grow a department within the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montpelier, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
