Job Title: Electronic Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role involves assembling electronic components with precision and accuracy, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.

+ Utilize hand tools to install components.

+ Ensure components are received from the prep department.

+ Use tools such as screwdrivers and pliers as needed.

+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ Electronic Assembly experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency in the utilization of hand tools.

+ Machine operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior production machinery/machine operation experience preferred.

+ Electronics and mechanical assembly skills.

+ Ability to accurately read and interpret show layouts.

+ Capability to work within a small range of motions due to the soldering requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
