Job Title: Catering Attendant

Pay: $21/hr starting out

Schedule: Part-Time / schedule varies based on events

Job Description

The Catering Attendant is responsible for assembling and delivering food and supplies for catered events, ensuring that all items reach their designated locations. The role involves maintaining food temperatures during events, arranging tables and decorations according to standards, setting up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items, and serving guests. After events, the Catering Attendant will clean the event location and return all catering equipment to the facility.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered events to their designated locations.

+ Log and maintain food temperatures during events.

+ Arrange tables and decorations according to standards.

+ Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.

+ Serve food and beverages to guests during events.

+ Thoroughly clean the event location after events.

+ Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.

+ Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.

+ Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.

+ Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.

+ Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products.

+ Keep a clean and safe work environment.

+ Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.

+ Perform any other assigned duties as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Valid driver's license required

+ Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law

+ Must be open to flexible hours depending on event times (3:00 AM to 11:00 PM; more details upon interview)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
