    Job Description

    The candidate will be responsible for running and maintaining an automated screw machine. This role involves unloading and loading the machine with raw materials, setting up the machine, and inspecting finished products before they proceed to the next work station. Additionally, routine maintenance, such as oil and coolant changes, is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Run and maintain an automated screw machine.

    + Unload and load the machine with raw materials.

    + Set up the machine for operation.

    + Inspect finished products before sending them to the next work station.

    + Perform routine maintenance including oil changes and coolant changes.

    + Sweep, clean, and mop the work area.

    + Pack and unpack materials as needed.

    + Move raw materials and finished products.

    + Monitor the machine during operator breaks, ensuring safety and operational standards are maintained.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in loading and unloading materials.

    + Ability to perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tasks.

    + Experience with machine operation and minor maintenance.

    + Ability to use hand tools and mechanical operation skills.

    + Capability to inspect products and interpret blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Ability to pass a math and mechanical aptitude test.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10/hr.
