Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The candidate will be working in the shipping and receiving department, utilizing a stand-up forklift to move material. The role may also require assistance in picking and packing products, reading labels, and supporting other warehousing duties.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a stand-up forklift and reach truck to move materials.

+ Assist in picking and packing products efficiently.

+ Read and understand labels accurately for proper product handling.

+ Support various warehousing duties as needed, including loading and material handling.

+ Maintain and manage warehouse inventory using RF scanners.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with inventory management.

+ Proficiency in using RF scanners.

+ Skilled in operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.

+ Familiarity with warehouse operations and shipping/receiving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in material handling.

+ General knowledge of warehouse and forklift operations.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit manufacturing setting with a focus on safety. The environment is not a traditional assembly line but consists of 4 to 5 stations where multiple assembly processes occur. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntley, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
