    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    As a General Production Worker, you will utilize basic equipment to complete the production of products, which includes wrapping, packaging, and transporting materials. The role requires handling of weights up to 35-40lbs and working on a fast-paced packaging line. In weaving, responsibilities will include replacing production material. The job involves consistent bending, twisting, and walking throughout the shift, and a keen attention to detail is crucial.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate basic equipment to finish product production.

    + Wrap, package, and move materials as needed.

    + Replace production material in the weaving process.

    + Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

    + Participate in consistent bending, twisting, and walking during shifts.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging and production.

    + Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team.

    + Attentiveness to machinery operations.

    + Capability to lift, bend, twist, and move materials.

    + Reliability in attending each scheduled shift.

    + Ability to work an 8-hour shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in creeling and willingness to train on different shifts.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes first and third shift opportunities with competitive starting pay. Employees will train on the first shift for three weeks before transitioning to the third shift for continued development in creeling and weaving roles. The role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, and twisting, in a collaborative team setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, ME.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
