Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description

Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a crucial role in our pipe and grade crews. Your expertise will drive the success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

+ Operate excavators and dozers to execute various tasks.

+ For pipe crews, skillfully operate excavators to dig trenches for pipe installation.

+ For grade crews, proficiently operate loaders, excavators, and dozers to perform rough and fine grading.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including excavators and bulldozers.

+ Excavation and grading expertise.

+ Experience in civil site and construction environments.

+ Proficiency with GPS technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience operating heavy Caterpillar Equipment (Dozer/Excavator).

+ Experience installing pipe, storm water lines, etc.

+ Rough grade experience.

+ Commercial construction experience.

Work Environment

Work weeks range from 40 to 60 hours depending on weather conditions. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 or 6 PM. Projects are primarily located around Richmond, VA, including sites in Chesterfield, VA and other nearby areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toano, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
