Job Title: Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The role involves handling transmissions and engines for various companies. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders, staging materials for shipment, and assisting with shipping and receiving duties. The position requires a mix of manual and forklift-assisted tasks, providing an engaging and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Pick orders from a bill of materials.

+ Pack orders according to the packaging sheet.

+ Stage materials for shipment.

+ Assist with shipping and receiving duties.

+ Operate a forklift for handling heavier items (100+ lbs).

+ Perform any additional duties as needed in the warehouse.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.

+ Experience in forklift operation.

+ Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to candidates with production experience.

+ Candidates with good job tenure may be considered, even without production experience.

+ Ability to work with paper documentation and basic computer skills.

+ Steel-toed boots are required.

+ Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
