    Hiring Wire Harness Assembler – Precision Electronics Manufacturing

    Work Environment & Schedule

    + New, modern manufacturing facility

    + Schedule: **Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM**

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented **Wire Harness Assembler** to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using prepared materials such as wire, cable, sleeving, and related components. All work is performed in accordance with **IPC‑620/Mil‑Spec workmanship standards** and customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, follows processes closely, and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Review and verify traveler documentation for accuracy, including part numbers, revisions, and quantities

    + Inspect materials for physical damage or defects prior to assembly

    + Prepare cables by cutting, de‑jacketing, and stripping

    + Perform assembly tasks including:

    + Loading connectors

    + Twisting wire and cable

    + Applying labels, heat shrink, and ty‑wraps

    + Potting and soldering

    + Assemble wire harnesses using a layout board

    + Operate stripping machines and various hand tools

    + Sign off on work order traveler after completion of each process

    + Ensure all materials are properly identified and safely packaged

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

    + Follow attendance expectations, including scheduled breaks and lunch

    + Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor or department manager

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, manufacturing processes, and safety procedures

    + 3–5 months of related experience or training in an electronics or manufacturing environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    + IPC‑620, IPC‑610, or J‑STD‑001 certification

    + Experience with:

    + Cable and wire harness assembly

    + Blueprint and schematic reading

    + Crimping and soldering

    + Electronic and mechanical assembly

    + Labeling and IPC workmanship standards

    + Proficiency using hand tools and manual assembly equipment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lone Tree, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
