    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

    A typical day in this position involves cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, operating a saw, and working with computer systems. The utmost priority is safety, and this value is emphasized at all times.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a forklift efficiently and safely.

    + Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory.

    + Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.

    + Utilize computer systems for various tasks.

    + Operate saws and other machinery as required.

    + Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in forklift operation.

    + Experience in a warehouse setting.

    + Strong material handling skills.

    + Basic computer knowledge and math skills, including reading measurements.

    + 1+ years of experience in warehouse and production, particularly in a metals or manufacturing facility.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

    + Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform order picking.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a warehouse and production facility with high expectations for production numbers and efficiencies. The facility employs 150-160 full-time employees. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
