    Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description

    A pump manufacturing and service company in North Houston is seeking Field Service Technicians to join their expanding team. The role involves traveling throughout the Greater Houston Area, with a maximum travel distance of 60 miles, to perform service calls on customer pumps at wastewater and municipality facilities. The primary responsibility is to conduct root cause analysis to diagnose issues and determine the best course of action for repair. Field repairs will be performed as needed, including tasks such as changing seals, running and tracing wire, and bending conduit. Additionally, technicians will perform site installations for new or repaired equipment, utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct root cause analysis to diagnose pump issues.

    + Determine the best course of action for repairs.

    + Perform field repairs such as changing seals, running/tracing wire, and bending conduit.

    + Perform site installations for new or repaired equipment.

    + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years' field service pump technician experience.

    + Experience in wastewater and municipality facilities.

    + Ability to read and interpret assembly schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Conveyor and barstool experience.

    Work Environment

    Technicians will dispatch from the shop each day to various wastewater and municipal facilities throughout Houston. A company vehicle will be provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 4 pm, with availability for weekends and overtime. The role involves traveling up to 60 miles around the Greater Houston Area.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
