    **Location:** Sarasota, FL

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

    **Pay Range:** $19–$27 per hour (based on experience)

     

    About the Position

     

    We are seeking a detail‑oriented **Test Technician** to support our production and engineering teams. This role is essential to ensuring that our high‑precision electronic and electromechanical products meet strict performance, reliability, and quality standards before they reach customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electronic and electromechanical assemblies

    + Identify, diagnose, and repair component‑level issues

    + Document test results, repair actions, and quality findings accurately and clearly

    + Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed

    + Support engineering and production teams with technical feedback and issue resolution

    + Follow established safety, quality, and regulatory procedures

    + Participate in continuous improvement and root‑cause analysis activities

    Qualifications

    + Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

    + Strong analytical and diagnostic skills

    + Experience with soldering, mechanical assembly, or calibration is a plus

    + Comfortable working in a regulated or quality‑controlled environment

    + Clear written communication for documentation and reporting

    Education & Experience

    + Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience

    + Previous experience in testing, repair, or service of electronic or electromechanical systems preferred

    This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
