    Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team in the Molding Department where you will play a crucial role in the production process. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and cutting products, assisting Mold Operators, and conducting the initial steps of the molding process.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate two machines: one for cleaning/sanitizing products and a cutting machine for trimming.

    + Perform repetitive tasks of loading and unloading machines, ensuring smooth operation during 20-minute intervals.

    + Use a microscope for visual inspection of parts exiting the machine.

    + Operate punch press and cutting machine to trim excess mold from parts.

    + Work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to gowning requirements (lab coat, gloves, mask, glasses, hair net).

    + Perform basic machine setup.

    + Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operating experience.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Basic assembly experience demonstrating mechanical inclination.

    + Ability to perform inspections using a microscope.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + ITAR compliance.

    + Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

    Work Environment

    Work in a cleanroom environment on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work twice a month. The shift is from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with most days ending around 2 AM. Initial training occurs on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Escondido, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
