    • About the Role

     

    We’re hiring a **1st Shift Production Assembler** to assemble a wide range of electrical and mechanical components into finished products. In this role, you’ll be trained across mechanical assembly, electronics, testing, soldering, microscope work, and finishing—giving you a versatile, in‑demand skillset.

    •️ What You’ll Do

    + Assemble electrical and mechanical components using a variety of tools and equipment

    + Cross‑train in mechanical assembly, electronics, testing, soldering, microscope inspection, and finishing

    + Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches

    + Perform **hand soldering** depending on department needs

    + Work with adhesives and chemicals during the assembly process

    + Use computer workstations for documentation, testing, and record‑keeping

    + Conduct electronic testing on final assemblies using various test instruments

    + Perform quality control inspections to ensure accuracy and reliability

    + Lift up to **40 lbs consistently**

    • What You Bring

    + **1+ year of assembly or production experience**

    + **Proficiency with small screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wiring, and soldering**

    + **Ability to read and understand work instructions, blueprints, and schematics**

    • Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with **soldering** and/or **microscope work**

    + **Familiarity with schematics, soldering techniques, blueprint reading, and small‑part assembly**

    + **High school diploma or equivalent**

    + **J-STD certification** (highly preferred)

    + Experience with PCB or precision part assembly

    • Work Environment

    + Large, organized production floor supporting gas & flame detection sensor lines

    + **1st Shift:** Monday–Friday, **6:00 AM – 2:30 PM**

    + **Smocks and safety glasses provided**

    + **No safety‑toe shoes required**

    + **Expect occasional epoxy smells** in certain areas

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be

    subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
