    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking an Operations Associate to join our team on an 8- or 12-hour shift. This role involves operating packaging equipment, packaging products according to master packaging records, and maintaining a clean and sanitized production area.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform packaging activities as per instructions in master packaging records and quality system procedures.

    + Maintain, clean, and sanitize areas in the production suites.

    + Operate packaging line equipment, including starting, running, and stopping the equipment.

    + Assume the role of QC Line Inspector when needed, conducting various tests as dictated by master batch records to support the release of finished products.

    + Perform visual inspections to ensure finished goods are packaged correctly prior to release.

    + Release packaging materials to graphic/dimensional specifications for manufacturing use.

    + Provide support activity to line personnel for break coverage.

    + Support the laboratory team in media preparation, logging area and incubatory temperatures, sampling raw materials and water, wet chemistry testing, and environmental sampling of classified areas.

    + Support laboratory cleaning and sanitization, including glassware washing.

    + Report and support Quality in investigation activities for the nonconformance system.

    + Place product on QC Hold pending investigation or OOS or NCR investigations.

    + Operate a fork truck to move finished goods from production to the warehouse and restock components to the production floor.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Working knowledge of basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averaging.

    + Ability to use a scale, calipers, and other measuring devices.

    + Ability to train and operate a fork truck and packaging equipment controls.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in packing, production, general labor, and packaging.

    + Proficiency in filling and production techniques.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
