Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description
Join our team as an A&P Mechanic where you will install Bell, AA, and other aftermarket kits, and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell aircraft. Your expertise will be essential in conducting major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structures, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications. You will also perform aircraft disassembly and reassembly, post maintenance flight test duties, and fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.
Responsibilities
+ Install Bell, AA, and other aftermarket kits.
+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell aircraft.
+ Conduct major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structures.
+ Perform sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
+ Handle aircraft disassembly and reassembly.
+ Conduct post maintenance flight test duties.
+ Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.
+ Assist and train junior mechanics as needed.
Essential Skills
+ A&P Mechanic License/Certification
+ Experience with helicopter and Bell helicopter maintenance
+ Aircraft maintenance and repair skills
+ Proficiency in powerplant mechanic and troubleshooting
+ Experience in line maintenance and inspection
+ Heavy maintenance and aviation expertise
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Ability to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance manuals, and blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two or more years of commercial helicopter maintenance experience on Bell helicopters, preferably in FAA 145 Repair Station.
+ Ability to install kits on new aircraft, including air conditioners, sliding doors, rescue hoists, FAST rope systems, etc.
+ Ability to perform maintenance on airframe and engine, including removal and replacement of engine and major airframe components.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and solve routine problems.
+ Ability to work under limited supervision.
+ Training records for types of Bell helicopters worked on.
+ Ability to measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage.
+ Formal factory Bell helicopter experience with OJT or formal factory training of 40 hours or greater with airframes 505-429-407.

Work Environment
You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with available overtime. The job requires the ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as needed. You'll need to stand for the duration of the shift and be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Additionally, you must purchase or own tools required for the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
