Assembly Technician

**Location:** Fargo, ND

Pay Rate:** **$20–$23/hr

Placement Type: Contract-to-Hire

**Schedule:** Monday–Thursday (9-hour days), Friday (half day)

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable General Laborers / Cabinet Assemblers to support a 3‑month project involving the assembly of high‑end kitchen and bathroom cabinets for a new apartment complex in Fargo, ND. This role is well‑suited for individuals with experience in woodworking, furniture assembly, or construction labor who enjoy structured, hands‑on, repeatable tasks performed indoors.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assemble **high‑end kitchen and bathroom cabinets** , drawers, and hardware

+ Read and follow basic assembly instructions or diagrams

+ Assist with light installation tasks if skilled in cabinet work

+ Perform consistent, repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment

+ Communicate any assembly issues or material needs to supervisors

+ Work alongside a team to meet project deadlines

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves)

+ Experience in **cabinet, furniture, or general assembly**

+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision

+ Comfortable working indoors on job sites

+ Strong attention to detail and reliability

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

+ Prior experience with **high-end cabinet assembly**

+ Experience assisting in cabinet installation

+ Familiarity with handheld tools and power tools

Work Environment

+ Indoor work at an active apartment construction site

+ Consistent, repetitive assembly tasks—ideal for someone who enjoys structured work

Compensation

+ **Pay Rate:** $20–$23/hr

+ **OT:** 1.5× after 40 hours

Job Description

Join our team for a 3-month project in Fargo, ND, where you will be involved in assembling 88 high-end kitchen and bathroom cabinets and hardware. The schedule consists of four 9-hour days from Monday to Thursday, with half-day Fridays.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble high-end kitchen and bathroom cabinets and hardware.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.

+ Assist in installation if experienced in high-end cabinet assembly.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly, specifically cabinet or furniture assembly.

+ Experience with hands‑on work involving tools, equipment, or structured assembly processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in high-end cabinet assembly is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
