Job Title: CMM Technician / Faro Arm Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CMM Technician / Faro Arm Technician to join our quality department. This role is primarily based in our state-of-the-art facility, with occasional travel to our main location in Ferndale. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of machined parts, programming and operating the Faro Arm with Polyworks, and performing first piece inspections. Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Program and operate Faro Arm with Polyworks software.

+ Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

+ Assist with PPAP processes and paperwork.

+ Conduct first piece and final inspections.

+ Utilize a scanning probe for inspections.

+ Spend half the day on the floor and the other half in the lab.

+ Complete inspection sheets and run relevant software.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Faro Arm Programming with Polyworks from scratch.

+ Experience in checking parts with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

+ Strong skills in reading blueprints and GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with PPAP process and paperwork.

+ Scanning experience with probe scanner.

+ Metal inspection background is preferred.

+ Familiarity with High QA Software is a plus.

Work Environment

Join a company founded in 1962 with a proud history of supporting military contractors and manufacturing parts for electric cars, buses, and USPS trucks. Our facilities, located with convenient access to major highways, cover over 70,000 square feet in Ferndale and 23,000 square feet in our second location. We operate a Monday to Friday 1st shift starting at 6 am, with workdays ranging from 8 to 10 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
