    Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electric motors and pumps primarily used in agricultural applications. This role involves electrical troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and traveling to customer sites within a 1-2 hour radius, with no overnight stays.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair electric motors and pumps used in agricultural operations.

    + Test and diagnose electrical AC/DC currents, circuits, and components.

    + Work safely with a wide range of voltages, adhering to proper electrical safety practices.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, and related equipment.

    + Install, replace, and commission equipment at customer sites.

    + Document all service work, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.

    + Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and service timelines.

    + Travel to job sites using a company-provided vehicle.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with electrical maintenance.

    + Knowledge of small motors and engines.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Proficiency in repairing and maintaining mechanical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with agricultural equipment or industrial electrical systems is a plus.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Ability to work independently in the field.

    Work Environment

    The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 50-hour work week. Technicians will work in agricultural, industrial, and outdoor environments, requiring physical activity such as standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A company vehicle is provided for field service travel.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington Boro, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $30.00/hr.
