Job Title: Clean Room Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clean Room Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle the assembly of small, precise parts using tweezers and operate machinery by accurately placing parts in jigs, aligning them via computer, and activating the machine. Quality checks using microscopes or magnifying glasses will be a key aspect of this role. Experience in electronics assembly is preferred. Training opportunities in clean room operations and laser etching machine operation may be available.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble small, precise parts using tweezers.

+ Operate machinery by placing parts in jigs, aligning them on a computer, and activating the machine.

+ Conduct quality checks using a microscope or magnifying glass.

+ Possibly be trained to work in the clean room or operate a laser etching machine.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in quality control and quality assurance.

+ Proficiency in assembling small parts.

+ Experience using microscopes, micrometers, or calipers.

+ Comfortable with data entry and basic computer skills.

+ Familiarity with medical, ERP, and Epicor systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Over 2 years of hands-on assembly or quality inspection experience.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

The work environment allows wearing jeans and a polo or nice t-shirt. Safety goggles are provided due to laser use, while steel toe boots are not required. When working in the clean room, employees will need to suit up each day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kettering, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $20.40/hr.
