    GSE Mechanic – Medium Duty Trucks & Ground Support Equipment

    **Location:** Franklin Park, Illinois

    **Schedule:** Sunday–Wednesday, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM

    **Employment Type:** Full-time

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a skilled **Mechanic** to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of **medium duty trucks, diesel engines, air brakes, and hydraulic systems** . This is a hands-on role where you’ll diagnose electrical issues, interpret schematics, and ensure our fleet and equipment remain in top condition. You’ll be part of a growing international group that values teamwork, safety, and employee development.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance on medium duty trucks.

    + Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues.

    + Maintain and repair air brake systems.

    + Read and interpret technical schematics.

    + Work on hydraulic systems and perform related repairs.

    + Diagnose electrical issues and conduct wiring diagnostics.

    + Address check engine lights and drivability concerns.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in preventive maintenance and hydraulics.

    + Proficiency with diesel engines and truck diagnostics.

    + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Ability to obtain an airport **SIDA badge** .

    + Minimum 1 year of experience with diesel engines.

    + At least 1 year of experience with hydraulics.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin Park, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
