• Welder/Fitter

    Aerotek (Columbia, SC)


    Key Duties

    + Perform flux core welds and fitting work on carbon structural steel

    + Execute 2G welds as required

    + Measure and interpret dimensions accurately to 1/16"

    + Safely move and handle materials up to 50 lbs

    Required Experience & Abilities

    + 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in structural steel welding or fitting

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints

    + Proficient with standard hand tools and fabrication equipment

    Compensation

    + **$20–$27/hr** , based on weld test results and experience

    + **10–20 hours of overtime weekly**

    Work Schedule

    + **Mon–Thurs:** 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    + **Fri:** 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    + **Sat (as needed):** 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
