    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to assist with moving heavy equipment using cranes and forklifts at new facilities. The role involves helping with equipment installation and initial testing. Candidates with an industrial bg, and experience in welding, mechanical work, pipe fitting, electrical work, machine operating, or rigging will be highly regarded. The position requires teamwork, typically working in groups of 2-4, and involves loading and unloading trucks with duct material.

    Responsibilities

    + Move heavy equipment using cranes and forklifts.

    + Assist with the installation and initial testing of equipment.

    + Work in teams to load and unload trucks with duct material.

    + Follow work instructions accurately.

    + Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of construction experience.

    + Ability to read a tape measure.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Experience in rigging and materials handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in welding, mechanical work, pipe fitting, electrical work, or machine operating is a plus.

    + Reliable transportation.

    Work Environment

     

    You will be trained at the main office and then travel to various job sites to assist with rigging of equipment. The role requires flexibility in travel and offers a start time of 5am-6am, with work continuing until 3-4pm, including opportunities for overtime. The first day starts at 7am. The work involves providing rigging, machinery moving, factory relocation, and crating services for industrial and commercial clients.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
