Job Title: CNC Router Programmer** **Job Description

As a CNC Router Programmer, you will program and operate a Thermwood CNC Router. Your role involves creating NC code from engineering 3D models or 2D AutoCAD using Master-Cam software or manual programming techniques. You will also load NC programs to machine control, assist operators in running new programs for the first time, and ensure finished parts meet or are as close as possible to engineering expectations.

Responsibilities

+ Accurately read and interpret customer blueprints.

+ Read, understand, and write CNC programming code.

+ Select appropriate cutting tools for optimum accuracy and efficiency.

+ Generate CNC programs using Master-Cam software or manual programming techniques.

+ Program correct operational sequences, tooling changes, machine movements, and cycle speeds.

+ Assist in quoting new projects, including programming hours, estimated running hours, and tooling.

+ Troubleshoot and problem-solve programming technical issues.

+ Meet deadlines and work under rush delivery situations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in CNC, blueprint reading, CNC router programming, and router operation.

+ A minimum of 1-3 years of direct experience is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be able to work collaboratively as needed.

You will work in a very large, clean manufacturing environment. The company manufactures products for the interiors of Boeing 737 aircrafts, including galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
