    Job Title: Welding Inspector

    Job Description

    The Welding Inspector will evaluate production operations to ensure products meet all quality, integrity, functionality, and specification requirements. This role includes inspecting GMAW welding boxes, performing plasma and acetylene cutting checks, testing welders, and monitoring new procedures. The position also involves assessing test results, recommending improvements, and communicating with customers once fully trained. The Welding Inspector will utilize micrometers, calipers, blueprints, and other precision tools to verify accuracy and compliance.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct inspections and quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.

    • Complete reports on the status of quality control and production operations.

    • Communicate findings to executive leadership and regulatory agencies when required.

    • Once fully trained, maintain direct communication with customers.

    • Ensure all procedures and products meet company and industry standards.

    Essential Skills

    • Strong proficiency in quality control and welding inspection.

    • Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and measurement tools.

    • Minimum of 3 years of related QC experience in stainless steel and aluminum manufacturing.

    • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures accurately.

    Additional Skills and Qualifications

    • Computer proficiency and experience with documentation.

    • Experience with dimensional inspection.

    • Knowledge of magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing is a plus.

    • CWI certification is beneficial but not required.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
