Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you will be responsible for checking work orders and blueprints to determine the parts to be manufactured and the daily production targets. You will set up machines daily and load metal sheets into the Brake Press, forming and bending them until the desired outcome is achieved. Your role will also involve operating other equipment such as Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, assembly, finishing, sanding, and punch press. A key part of your duties includes visually and physically inspecting each piece of metal to ensure it meets specifications and is free from defects.
Responsibilities
+ Review work orders and blueprints to understand production requirements.
+ Perform daily machine setup and operation.
+ Load metal sheets into the Brake Press and perform forming and bending tasks.
+ Operate additional equipment including Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, assembly, finishing, sanding, and punch press.
+ Inspect metal pieces for defects such as dents, rips, cuts, and improper bends.
+ Lift and handle materials weighing over 40 pounds daily.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Experience in machine operation.
+ Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in machine operation and using precision measuring instruments.
+ Knowledge of laser, press brake, tig welding, and general welding techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 6 months of experience in welding or fabricating.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
