Hiring Mechanic's on 1st & 2nd Shift – near MCO Airport
Job Description
We are hiring Sr. Mechanic's and Mechanics to support Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance at the MCO Airport. These roles involve maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting GSE equipment, including diesel, automotive, and electrical systems. All candidates must be able to run and troubleshoot wire harnesses. Pay ranges from **$29.50–$31.50 per hour** , based on experience and position level.
Schedule
Sr.** **Mechanics (2 positions):
2nd shift, **2:30 PM–11:00 PM**
One schedule: Sunday–Thursday
Second schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Mechanics (3 positions):
**2 Mechanics** on 2nd shift, **2:30 PM–11:00 PM** , Sunday–Thursday
**1 Mechanic** on 1st shift, **6:00 AM–2:30 PM** , Sunday–Thursday
Responsibilities
+ Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot GSE equipment across the airport fleet
+ Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose engine, transmission, brake, and electrical issues
+ Conduct repairs on diesel systems (Sr. Mechanics) and automotive systems (Mechanics)
+ Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot wiring, harnesses, and system faults
Essential Skills
+ **Sr.** **Mechanics:** Diesel maintenance, troubleshooting, and heavy equipment repair
+ **Mechanics:** Minimum 4 years of automotive experience, including transmission, brake, and engine work
+ Ability to run, repair, and troubleshoot wire harnesses
+ Strong preventive maintenance and diagnostic skills
+ Clean driver’s license required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.25 - $31.00/hr.
