    Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description

     

    The candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks. They will use an RF Scanner to pick and put away materials, stage materials for shipping, and load and unload trucks as needed. Additionally, they will operate machinery to shrink wrap pallets for shipment and assist in other areas when necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate stand-up reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.

    + Utilize an RF Scanner for picking and putting away materials.

    + Stage materials for shipping and load/unload trucks.

    + Operate machinery for shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.

    + Assist in other warehouse duties as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months experience operating a stand-up reach truck.

    + Experience with RF Scanners and picking orders.

    + Proficiency in order picking, palletizing, and staging pallets.

    Work Environment

    Work in a very large, clean, and well-lit warehouse. The facility is highly organized and values similar to Aerotek’s, emphasizing customers, people, integrity, safety, and quality. Shifts include 1st Shift from 6am-2:30pm, 2nd Shift from 3:00pm-11:30pm, 3rd Shift from Sunday-Thursday 8pm-4:30am, and a Weekend Shift from 6am-4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Opportunities for overtime are available on Saturdays and during the week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $23.00/hr.
