    Description

    Our client, a highly successful family law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to support their legal team. In this role, you will assist with case preparation, legal research, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.

     

    Role: Paralegal

     

    Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience) + great benefits!

     

    Schedule: In-Office M-F (can work remote if sick, appointment, as needed basis)

    Responsibilities:

    + Answering telephones, preparation and review of discovery materials; preparation of correspondence, exhibits, electronic filings, organizing and updating of case files and general administrative duties.

    + Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.

    + Answer and direct phone calls.

    + Maintain contact lists.

    + Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + 3+ years’ general litigation experience required and family law experience is HIGHLY preferred.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

    + Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.

    + Computer literacy MS Office.

    + Working knowledge of case management software (NetDocs, MyCase, etc.) is preferred.

    + Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
