    Description

    We are seeking compassionate and dependable Helpline Counselors to provide emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals in need. This role is ideal for someone with a background in psychology who is comfortable working various shifts, including overnight hours.

     

    •Key Responsibilities:

    + Answer inbound helpline calls and provide emotional support

    + Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed

    + Assess caller needs and provide appropriate resources or referrals

    + Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of calls

    + Follow established protocols and safety procedures

    + Collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff as required

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field required

    + Strong active listening and communication skills

    + Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-stress situations

    + Comfortable working flexible schedules, including overnight shifts

    + Basic computer skills and accurate documentation abilities

    Training & Schedule:

    + First 90 days: On-site, in-person training required

    + After training: Hybrid schedule available

    + Various shifts available, including overnight coverage
