    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract role, you will be responsible for handling and verifying deposits, processing transactions, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This position operates during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.

    Responsibilities:

    • Inspect deposit bags to ensure their integrity and verify assigned work for accuracy.

    • Process customer deposits while resolving discrepancies and maintaining balanced accounts.

    • Follow company policies and adhere to state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

    • Detect counterfeit currency and suspicious activities, promptly reporting them to supervisors.

    • Achieve or exceed productivity targets for deposit processing tasks.

    • Reconcile cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.

    • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving operational processes.

    • Perform job duties independently, demonstrating reliability and self-sufficiency.

     

    The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.     Requirements • Proven expertise in cash applications and payment posting.

     

    • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and cash payments.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle financial transactions accurately.

    • Knowledge of compliance standards related to currency handling.

    • Ability to identify counterfeit currency and report irregularities appropriately.

    • Excellent organizational skills and capability to meet productivity goals.

    • Prior experience in a similar cash handling or processing role preferred.
