Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Pasadena, California. This role involves managing key financial processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications, to ensure the organization's accounts receivable operations are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial collections and cash activity, along with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle cash applications and reconcile payments to customer accounts.

• Conduct follow-ups on outstanding invoices and manage commercial collections effectively.

• Generate and distribute accurate billing statements to clients.

• Monitor and report on cash activity to maintain financial accountability.

• Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and address inquiries.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for all accounts receivable activities.

• Analyze and improve accounts receivable workflows for greater efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in managing cash applications and handling commercial collections.

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

• Familiarity with financial software and tools.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations.
