Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations, budgeting, and performance analysis within a dynamic and hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities, relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support various business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed reviews of month-end financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in the development and management of budgets, including file preparation, spend analysis, and review of actual expenditures.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs and provide actionable insights.

• Analyze performance metrics and calculate rolling forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

• Process and interpret data for updated financial reporting and business insights.

• Collaborate on budget and forecast processes to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

• Support shared services across multiple functional areas such as HR, IT, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, and Accounting.

• Utilize data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial datasets.

• Work with SAP systems to streamline reporting and financial analysis tasks.

• Provide analytical support during month-end and budget season, potentially requiring overtime. Requirements • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and variance analysis.

• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups.

• Familiarity with SAP systems and their applications in financial processes.

• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including accruals.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships across teams.

• Experience in manufacturing, sales, or service industries is highly desirable.

• Ability to handle large datasets and deliver actionable insights.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
