    Description We are looking for a motivated HR Generalist to join our team in San Diego, California. This Contract to permanent employment opportunity offers an exciting chance to contribute to a dynamic non-profit organization by managing key human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, HR administration, compliance, and onboarding processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle employee relations matters by providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.

    • Manage HR administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

    • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new team members are welcomed and integrated effectively into the organization.

    • Administer employee benefits programs, addressing inquiries and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

    • Utilize HRIS platforms, such as Paycom, to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate employee data.

    • Monitor compliance with California labor laws and ensure adherence to FMLA regulations.

    • Lead employee training initiatives to enhance skills, promote development, and align with organizational goals.

    • Support corporate recruiting efforts by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.

    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies, addressing any issues proactively. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and human resources administration.

    • Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee training programs.

    • Strong knowledge of California labor laws and FMLA regulations.

    • Proficiency in using HRIS platforms, such as Paycom, for managing HR functions.

    • Experience in administering employee benefits and ensuring compliance.

    • Background in corporate recruiting, including sourcing and interviewing candidates.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
