Description We are looking for a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will manage various aspects of leave administration, employee benefits coordination, and compensation analysis. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional service to employees.
Responsibilities:
• Administer employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with Washington State regulations and organizational policies.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and processes, providing timely support and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate benefits programs and assist employees in navigating their options effectively.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs and subtotals, to analyze and report on compensation and benefits data.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing employee inquiries related to benefits and leave.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, such as FMLA and OSHA, in all compensation and benefits activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize benefits administration processes and systems.
• Apply knowledge of level funding to manage benefits effectively.
• Support additional tasks as needed, demonstrating adaptability and technological proficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in leave administration, with specific knowledge of Washington State leave requirements.
• Familiarity with workers’ compensation processes and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, subtotals, and pivot tables.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills when interacting with employees.
• Technological aptitude and experience with systems such as UKG Pro.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable. TalentMatch®
