Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Middleton, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee complex infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective collaboration across teams and vendors. This is a long-term contract position that requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic insurance industry environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead infrastructure upgrade projects, including server migrations and operating system updates, ensuring all milestones are achieved within the specified timelines.
• Coordinate transitions for user management systems and endpoint solutions, facilitating smooth implementation and integration.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, tracking progress and addressing challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful execution of project goals.
• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project efficiency and team productivity.
• Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and managing performance to meet organizational standards.
• Implement organizational change management strategies to support project transitions and minimize disruptions.
• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to monitor workflows, report progress, and ensure accountability.
• Deliver superior customer service by maintaining effective communication and addressing stakeholder concerns.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout all phases of project execution. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and PMP certification.
• Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management.
• Strong background in managing database upgrades and server migrations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Skilled in organizational planning and change management strategies.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
