Position Summary
The Data Owner Analyst is accountable for the completeness, accuracy and readiness of item master data within the retail organization’s master data management (MDM) system that powers Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Finance and Digital Channels. In this role, your primary duty is to apply data governance policies to validate, approve and continuously improve item data and workflows with the MDM platform (STIBO). As a consumer of master data, you must understand and follow data policies to ensure consistency and integrity across all systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of product data and retail processes.

Analyst will have the ability to:
+ Validate, maintain and approve data across multiple systems
+ Follow structured processes and apply data governance policies in daily work
+ Identify and escalate data discrepancies or missing information
+ Communicate effectively with merchants, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues
+ Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining accuracy
Analyst will have knowledge of:
+ Master Data Management and Data Governance principles
+ Item onboarding, enrichment, and workflow processes in retail environments
+ Product attribute standards and data validation best practices
Required Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in product data management, item setup, or related retail operations
+ Demonstrable proficiency in Excel or data entry tools for managing and tracking item data
Preferred Qualifications
+ Ability to write/run SQL and perform advanced Excel Analysis (lookups, pivots)
+ Proficiency with MDM/PIM Platforms (e.g. STIBO) and workflow driven approvals
+ Hands on exposure to vendor data onboarding, content syndication and data quality tooling
+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and efficiency
+ Understanding of retail product attributes, hierarchy, and item lifecycle processes
Education
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or commensurate work experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
