Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Ontario, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service in a fast-paced medical environment. Your ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently and interact professionally with patients will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process with professionalism.

• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records using basic Microsoft Office tools.

• Make reminder calls to patients and send reminder messages to ensure timely attendance.

• Handle cash transactions and manage billing processes with attention to detail.

• Provide information and assistance regarding Medicaid and other medical services.

• Support the front desk by answering calls, resolving inquiries, and directing patients as needed.

• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and another language, if bilingual.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ensure a seamless front office experience.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Requirements • Proven experience in patient scheduling and front office operations.

• Familiarity with basic medical terminology and Medicaid processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle calls and inquiries professionally.

• Cash handling experience and attention to detail in billing.

• Bilingual abilities are preferred to assist a diverse patient base.

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy medical environment.
