Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Austin, Texas, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization while growing your expertise in HR practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition and are equipped with the necessary tools and information.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and addressing inquiries.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and managing offers.
• Provide support for HR administrative tasks, including compliance documentation and policy updates.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies to align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with management to identify and address workforce needs.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to encourage attention to detail and growth within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards through regular monitoring and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and resolving workplace issues.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, including policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and best practices.
• Experience in managing employee benefits programs.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems for data management and reporting.
• Skilled in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
