    Responsibilities

    + Lead preparation and review of individual tax returns (primarily 1040)

    + Work directly with clients to collect info, answer questions, and guide them through the tax process

    + Support estate and gift tax planning; 1041/1065 experience a plus

    + Prepare California and multi-state returns

    + Conduct tax projections and provide strategic guidance on compliance

    + Stay current on tax laws and communicate complex issues clearly

    + Partner with wealth advisors and support internal education initiatives

    Requirements

    + CPA or EA preferred

    + 3+ years tax prep experience with high-net-worth clients

    + Proficiency in Lacerte required

    + Strong experience in advanced tax topics: QSBS, 1031 exchanges, Opportunity Zones, charitable giving, stock compensation, retirement planning, capital gains, and tax-loss harvesting

    + Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills

    + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    + Tech-savvy with a drive for professional growth
