Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Lewisville, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, creating detailed models, and providing insights to guide decision-making processes. Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to address specific financial questions or challenges.
• Evaluate and report on financial performance metrics to aid in decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze key financial insights.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial analysis.
• Monitor and analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while maintaining data integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using data mining techniques to analyze complex financial data.
• Advanced knowledge of variance analysis and its application in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly.
• Expertise in financial software and tools, including Excel and other analysis platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with additional certifications preferred.
